FOREWORD
I am delighted to introduce the RSPCA鈥檚 first Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Annual Review, which outlines the progress made over 2024. In this year the 快活影院celebrated 200 years of changing industries, laws, minds, and animals鈥 lives for the better - and it鈥檚 fitting that we released our first Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Annual Review in this year.
Our purpose is to inspire everyone to create a better world for every animal. To do this, we need governments, civil society, businesses, communities, families and individuals to share our passion for positive change鈥揳nd be part of our millions strong movement for animal welfare. Diversity and inclusion are essential to delivering this vision together. From our animal rescuers and carers to our volunteers, staff who work in offices or directly with animals, to those who lead the change through their own acts of compassion, we鈥檙e rallying humanity to create a better world for all.
Our Board, and my senior leadership colleagues are committed to creating a more diverse RSPCA. We are committed to building an inclusive culture that celebrates and promotes diversity, which attracts, develops and retains diverse and talented employees and volunteers who can make a positive difference to the lives of animals, and who truly reflect the communities we serve.
There is a lot to celebrate in this report. We know there is much more we need to do to live up to these aspirations, but I am proud of the work reflected here as a starting point and that we put people and animals at the heart of all we do.

Back in 1824 the world was a very different place for people, and for animals. With your help, we鈥檝e spent the last two centuries on a mission to change it for the better. Let鈥檚 keep going!
