Soot came into the centre due to welfare concerns in the home and his previous owners were unable to look after him anymore.
Soot is finding the cattery environment stressful and often seeks comfort by hiding away in his various hiding spots.
With a lot of time, and with the help of food and treats, Soot is gradually becoming more comfortable in his surroundings and with humans, who he has asked for a small amount of fuss from.
Soot is looking for a quiet home, with patient owners, who will give him the space he needs and wants in order for him to be comfortable in a new environment. Which in time may result in Soot wanting attention from humans too; but that’s a bonus, not an expectation!
