About Me

Introducing our star couple Jack and Olive!

This adorable duo were signed over from a multi cat home where their owner could no longer provide for them. It is unknown if they are related but they are definitely bonded and spend a lot of their time snuggled up and grooming each other - they are looking for a home together.

Jack (2 years approx) is the more confident of the pair and within minutes he is on your lap, purring like a motor and even giving your hair a little grooming session to show his love. Jack craves closeness and thrives on companionship, just wanting to be adored, and he gives the most assertive head nudges that'll leave no doubt he wants fusses, and now! He has got some scarring on his left eye which he could have been born with or could be due to some damage in the past but it is all healed now. It is not known how well he sees out of that side but it does not seem to slow him down - he is a playful boy and loves to chase a stringy toy!

Olive (1 year approx) is a petite, quiet and gentle girl who is a little more reserved than her companion. She tends to hang back a bit at first but once she feels safe her sweet and affectionate nature shines through- she loves fusses! At the moment she still very much seeks the reassurance of her `big brother' Jack but she is gaining confidence every day and is sure to blossom in her new home when she has love and attention on tap.

Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweet pair? Olive and Jack are suitable to live with sensible children aged 8+ who will allow Olive a little time to settle in at her own pace. They could possibly live with another laid back cat or a calm cat-friendly dog subject to suitable introductions. They will eventually need outdoor access once they are settled into their new home (away from main/busy roads).

If you meet all of the above rehoming criteria, please complete this

Please note, as we are only a small team we are unable to contact unsuccessful applicants.

Thinking of adopting?

There's a lot to think about before taking on a pet.  Read our rehoming page to find out more about adopting from the RSPCA.

Before being adopted all our cats are neutered, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. We also microchip them and, if requested, we can test for FIV and FeLV. So our adoption fee is great value for money if you consider how much all of the above would cost you.
