Rupert is a cuddly, intelligent and funny boy!

Despite his size, he is a gentle giant, a real softie. He has his favourite people who he gets super excited at when he sees, he becomes such a puppy and does zoomies! He loves a cuddle and a bum scratch. He is a very clever boy, he knows some basic commands and loves his treats. He just wants to be around us all the time, he will lay on our laps and have a snooze, but demands bell rubs while he dozes off! He walks alongside us in the activity area and is curious as to everything that we are doing. He has a lot of energy and loves being outside and walks really well on the lead. He is housetrained, travels well in the car, doesn?t shred and LOVES playing with toys.

This is a massive turn around for him as he was nervous when he first came to us, and still can be wary of new people and other dogs, but with continued positive reinforcement training, we think he will blossom.

We have no history of Rupert having ever lived with children, so for that reason we are looking for an adult home for him. He will need a private garden with 6ft fencing. Ideally his owner will have experience with larger breeds and understand he will need time and patience to settle and build a bond with. Rupert is very intelligent and a quick learner, reward based training is the key to unlocking his full potential.
