About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: 2 Years (approx)
Ref: 267811

Handsome Marmite was found abandoned by his owners. He had been left in a house without access to food and water for several days, and when rescued was understandably worried and a little nervous. He was treated at one of our great hospitals before being moved into our care.

Although a little nervous at first, we have found him to be affectionate and friendly once he just gets to know you. We do short and treat based interactions, which he responds to really well, and this will be recommended to carry on at first in his new home until he settles. We find that if we spend large amounts of time with him, he becomes over stimulated.

Marmite is a big cat and he was entire until recently. Once his hormones have settled a little, we feel he has great potential. In his new home, he would benefit from having an area that is his, with things to keep him stimulated such as boxes, scratch tower and toys. He will enjoy interactive play such as food puzzles until such a time where he is ready to start going outside again.

We are looking for an adult home where Marmite will be the only cat. We do think he could live with a dog that is used to being around cats and who is calm and non confrontational.

If you meet all of the above rehoming criteria, please complete this
