About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Brown and white
Age: 2 Years (approx)

Lily is a delightful 2-year-old girl who has sadly spent most of her short life in terrible conditions, being used for breeding. The property had become overrun, and there were not enough resources for everybody.

Now she has spent a few weeks in a foster home being pampered and recovering from her ordeal, Lily is looking (and smelling!) stunning once more. And her beautiful personality just goes to show how resilient she is - she is the most affectionate, chatty girl you could hope to meet. Her besotted foster carers have this to say:

'This affectionate little cat is a true companion. She loves being around people and always has something to "say" – especially if you've been out too long! When you come home, she'll greet you at the door with a chorus of meows, letting you know exactly how she feels about your absence.

She rarely spends time alone, always choosing to be near you, whether you're working, relaxing, or just moving from room to room. At night, she becomes the perfect cuddle buddy – making biscuits and purring softly as she snuggles up to sleep by your side.'

We are looking to rehome Lily as an only cat, so she does not have to compete with anybody else for any of the food, toys, or cuddles available. She could live with children primary school aged and above, and she will need safe, ground floor access to potter outside once she has settled in to her new home. Lily will need preventitive prescription grade flea treatment going forward to prevent a recurrence of the fur loss she had when she first came into our care.

Lily has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you also have lots to say and have been looking for a new conversation partner then

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I could live with children of primary school age
  • I love company and would like you to be around a good part of the day
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
