About Me
Breed: | Domestic Shorthair crossbreed |

Colour: | Black |
Age: | 6 Years (approx) |
Benji is a handsome, laid back chap around 6 years old. He's looking for a forever home to rest his (3) legs and chunky head. Tripod chap Benji lost his leg after a fall which left him with injuries too severe to repair. Despite all of the pain he's been through, Benji has remained one of the sweetest souls we have cared for. After a few months of recovery, Benji is looking for a comfy lap to rest his head on. Here's what Benji's foster carer has to say about him:
'Benji is an affectionate and laid back chap who is very sweet. He would like someone who can give him plenty of love and attention in return for his head butts and kisses and who also likes to snuggle up on the sofa. He loves a good head or chin scratch and will let you know when he'd like one of these! He can be chatty, especially if he sees another cat outside and loves to have a chair by the window so he gets front row views.'
Benji loves his food so needs an adopter who keeps him trim so his three legged life isn't any harder. He has struggled to adapt to being 3 legged and isn't yet able to easily jump very high or move very quickly. For this reason we would be willing to rehome him as an indoor cat if the home was large and ideally on 2 floors so he can continue to develop. If he is let outside it needs to be in a quiet area or enclosed garden/ catio. Benji is looking for a home as the only pet with any children of secondary School age.
Benji is ready to claim a new lap and food bowls now. If you can offer this gentle boy a new home :)
My personality
I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
I'll probably spend more time inside
I could live with children of secondary school age
I'm full of energy and love to play
I would prefer not to live with a dog
