McNulty is a true gentleman. He is very affectionate and gentle and purrs as soon as he sees you. All he wants is a quiet home to live out his golden years. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. If you are looking for cat to keep you company having a snooze on the settee McNulty is for you!
A vet contacted us on behalf of McNulty's elderly owner who had become poorly and said that McNulty was a trip hazard which is common for those unsteady on their feet.
On the owner's vet notes it said that the daughter had phoned to say McNulty was toileting in the house, elderly owner can't cope. So vet suggested phoning the RSPCA. Excellent veterinary history apart from a lapse of vaccinations.
After a couple of weeks in our care McNulty went in for a dental only to find he had a lower broken jaw, literally split open right down the middle. See x-ray image. It had been like that for a good few weeks. It likely explains the toilet issues relating to stress and pain. The pain this poor boy had endured for so long in just unimaginable. The vet wired the jaw together...six weeks on and it's fused together pretty well and he's had a dental. He was already neutered and Microchipped. He is now fully vaccinated.
