Meet our timid girl Tipsy.
Sadly, Tipsy came to us when her world turned upside down after losing her owner. She had already been through the wars, having had both her ears removed due to cancer. She is now finding life quite scary and overwhelming.
This sweet girl needs someone who has lots of love and patience to give. Tipsy here in the cattery spent a lot of time hidden, with the odd meow or head poked out when getting breakfast and dinner. We felt that it would be good for us to see how Tipsy did in a foster home, here she gradually found her confidence and she investigated the home, albeit very tentatively, if she got startled she would dart back to her safe space under her fort but she definitely improved daily. Having built a bond with her fosterer Tipsy enjoys a cuddle and groom on her fosterers lap, but the evenings are when she becomes a bit more playful with her toys as the house is a lot quieter.
Tipsy is now back at the centre and we have seen the improvement in her confidence yet she still likes to remain away from all the hustle and bustle of the cattery. Tipsy would suit living with a single person or a couple in a quiet and low footfall home without any other pets or children, where Tipsy can feel safe and settled.
This girl is so deserving of a chance at a new start. If you feel that you can give Tipsy the type of home she needs then please apply via the link below.
