Allow us to introduce Mia, our American Akita.
Mia is looking for a home with experience of the breed (or similar) and owners who have the time and patience to continue investing in training with her; this includes walking on the lead nicely and gentle interactions with other dogs.
She has shown that she has excellent potential and has taken to her training her well. Offsite she has shown she can be polite with other dogs, and has a keen interest in exploring.
Mia will need plenty of exercise, including a private large-fenced garden for her to roam around in while she is at home. We are rehoming Mia as an only dog in the home, and adult only household. She can be strong on the lead and new owners will need to be prepared to work with this in her training.
She also loves a fuss indoors, and will thrive in a home where she is given plenty of enrichment and interaction with her new owners. Offlead, she loves to play with toys and hunting out treats in games of 'go find it'!
If you meet all of the above rehoming criteria, please complete this
