Here is our stunning Eilish who was sadly abandoned in our car park here at the centre.
Eilish found the cattery environment very overwhelming and remained hidden the entire time. Luckily we have been able to find her a foster home where she has had a quiet space to settle in. We have now seen Eilish gaining confidence slowly and positive progress has been made. However she has shown she still isnt ready for hands on interaction and is happy to be in her own space.
She will need a low footfall home with one or two people who dont expect too much from her and understand a hands off approach. Recently she has come out of hiding in the home but still isnt happy to be approached but has gained enough confidence to play whilst her fosterers are in the room, so everything will need to be in her own time. She may never become a lap cat, so Eilish will need some one to understand that she may just be around doing her own thing. As she was abandoned we dont have much information on what her life was like before she was found so how much interaction she will want in the future we are not sure.
Eilish would like an adult only home but could live with another quiet and calm cat, and eventually will need outside access when she has settled into her surroundings.
