Sweet Tetley - a 2 year old Clumber Spaniel is at the lookup for his loving, understanding and forever home. Tetley is an anxious boy, who finds meeting and bonding with new people difficult. He was removed from unsuitable living conditions with 10+ other dogs and we believe he had had little or no exposure to the outside world and his socialisation around people had been neglected. Tetley prefers to ignore dogs on walks but shows some interest from a distance. He loves sniffy walks on a long lead, playing with soft toys and carrying them around. Tetley has a good appetite and is not fussy with treats. He travels well in the van.

Tetely has been with us over 4 months and staff gained his trust through a pressure free approach, gentle touch on his own terms, play and loads of patience. This pup will open his heart to people who have an understanding of fear related body language and who won't rush him to make friends. Due to this Tetley will require multiple meets at the centre and possible in his future home with staff's presence. We're looking for adopters who live locally in a quiet, suburban/remote area and can commit to his special needs. He has so much to give in return.
