Meet Tuna! This beautiful 2-year-old Seal Point Siamese has a touching story, having arrived in our care after a challenging start to life. Her past experiences have made her quite timid around people, and as a result, she is seeking a quiet, adult-only home where she can truly flourish. A household without visiting children would be ideal, allowing her the space and peace she needs to feel secure.
Since her arrival at the centre, Tuna has made remarkable progress. She's gradually begun to emerge from her shell and now confidently takes treats from familiar faces. While she isn't quite ready for physical affection, her willingness to engage in this way is a significant step forward. We believe she would thrive as the only pet in her new home. This would provide her with undivided attention and allow her new family to focus entirely on building a strong bond of trust with her.
Despite her initial shyness, Tuna has also started to reveal her playful side. She absolutely loves a good chasey toy, and these interactive play sessions are a wonderful way to connect with her and encourage her natural curiosity. With patience, understanding, and a loving environment, Tuna has the potential to blossom into a cherished companion.
