Beau is a 2 year old Clumber spaniel looking for calm and understanding adopters.
Beau arrived into 快活影院care after being removed from a property with many other dogs due to unsuitable living conditions. It is likely that Beau has spent the majority of his life living in an outside environment, so it will understandably take him time to settle into a home environment. Beau can be quite anxious and worried when meeting new people, once he knows you he is a very sweet and friendly boy. Beau has previously lived with other dogs, he is very social with the other dogs here at the Centre and we feel he would be able to live in a home with another dog. Due to Beau's nervous nature we are looking for an adult only home for him (homes with children of 15+ would be considered), with no visiting young children. And ideally with adopters who have had previous experience of the breed or similar breeds. Beau does have some ongoing health issues with his joint that will require longterm medication - we can discuss this with you in full detail upon enquiry.
We are ideally looking for a home for Beau in a rural or semi rural location where he will have access to quieter walking areas. Beau may need multiple meets at the centre before adoption takes place so that he can become comfortable and form a bond with his adopters.
