We're pleased to introduce to you all one of our newest resident gentle giants - Apricot! This girly truly embodies everything typical of your larger breeds, and we believe that these endearing qualities are what make her so wonderful. Although shy at first, we quickly gained this girl's trust and were pleasantly surprised when her true personality began to shine, and when we started to see how much of a goofball she really is! Just like most other large dogs, Apricot is convinced that she is a lap dog, and will make it her mission to have cuddles whenever it is convenient for her - whether you're prepared for it or not! This includes classic bearhugs whilst you're out on a walk, and curling up as tight as she possibly can on your knee - where she's convinced that there's no way that you could possibly see her! But who could deny her when she gives you the most heartwarming puppy-dog eyes? Because Apricot can still struggle to meet new people and is working on her confidence, we would advise that she lives in an adult only home with an active family who can be around most of the time to help improve on her newfound bravery, and to help her with her general manners and basic training. Apricot is also still learning how to appropriately socialise with dogs when out on a walk, and so we would recommend that she is the only animal in the home so that she can make the most of some well-need undivided attention.
