About Me

Breed: American Bulldog
Colour: White/Brindle
Age: 3 Years (approx)
Ref: DD043

Nero is a big, cuddly, bouncy boy that has found a new lease of life since being with us at Hillfield. He is a big lad, being an American Bulldog cross, but he has the playfulness and squeaky bark of a puppy. He gallops around our secure field like a Gazelle, with pure joy in his eyes. We don't have much background on Nero, and he is having a lot of suspected 'firsts' here in Kennels. Such as wearing a harness, the freedom to run around off lead and going on walks in the field.

He does pull on the lead as he can be very excited by all the new smells and sights, but he is highly trainable. Nero is a very sweet boy that loves a good bum scratch and would make a great addition to a home with a secure garden with owners that have knowledge of the breed. Given his size and energy, older children with experience of large breeds would be preferable. We think that Nero would be happiest as the only pet in the home as he has been unsure of some of the dogs in Kennels and would like all of the attention for himself. As he is becoming more socialised, we think he could have a canine friend in the future.

My personality

  • You'll need to take me to training classes
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I need help learning to like other dogs
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm a gentle giant (big and strong)
  • I love toys and games
