About Me

Colour: | Tan - White |
Age: | 7 Years (approx) |
Ref: | 261469 |
Meet Assula! Abandoned by her owners and left in an emaciated state, this larger than life girl has truly found her footing here at Block Fen. Given time, she is now at a healthy weight and only has love and a wet kiss to give her handlers.
Today, Assula is always wagging her tail and has shown amazing progress. Though a bigger dog, she is adored and managed by staff and volunteers alike. On arrival she was walking with a head collar, but this has since been faded out. It may be advisable to reintroduce such an aid during the initial exciting weeks of going into a home. However, Assula should quickly adapt and begin walking at your side in no time. She also loves having time off-lead in our secure paddocks where she can freely explore to her hearts content.
Through slow introductions Assula has proven to be a firm favourite with the other dogs and is often our go-to-girl when looking to find a buddy for another dog that may be a little nervous on entry. As such we are open to considering applicants with dogs. Due to her past relationship with food, care and routine may be necessary around feeding/food routines.
Assula is an older girl looking for her chance to relax in a home with owners that can provide her a steady life full of fuss, play and walks and a secure garden to explore. Due to a limited history and her size, we would only consider applicants with children 16+ and over.
The adoption fee for this dog is #200
