About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: 6-12 Months

Glinda arrived in our care after being found living in a shed alongside her mum and two siblings. Due to part genetics and having missed out on crucial socialising at a young age, this has left Glinda wanting nothing to do people and despite the staff’s best efforts, she is still very ‘spicy’. We don’t think Glinda will cope well in a home and that she would much prefer an alternative lifestyle that can offer her the freedom she is looking for.

We are looking for a very special ‘guardian’ for Glinda who can take on her care, daily feeding and give her a warm shelter to retreat to along with providing a safe environment for her to live out her days. Suitable accommodation must be always protected from the elements with easy access, examples include; stables, barns and small holdings.

Her new owner would be responsible for ensuring that she is in a healthy condition and they would need to keep her contained for the first few weeks before she is allowed out to explore. There is a possibility that with time and a change of scenery, she may become more accepting of people and seek attention.
