Delboy arrived at the centre with his brother Timmy after their needs were not being met. He was the more nervous out of the pair but since being kennelled separately Delboy has really grown in confidence and is coming out of his shell more and more every day. Delboy can still be a little hesitant around new people when first meeting but with a treat and promise of cuddles he will come around once he realises you’re a friend and loves nothing more than a good fuss. We are looking for potential adopters that realise Delboy will need to continue on his basic training and being shown the world isn't so scary so he can grow in confidence even more in a home environment.

Delboy adores having a cuddle and really loves playing with a variety of different toys. We are so proud of how far Delboy has come since arriving, he has really come into his own and loves the adventures the day brings. Delboy is a really big fan of tennis balls and loves playing with these with his handlers, so if you have a tennis ball you’ve already got yourself on his side. He has even been to the beach with one of the kennel staff and had the best time running around on the sands and seeing what the world has to offer, he even had himself a pup cup!

We feel that Delboy would thrive better in an adult only home, so that he can have a quiet and calm household. Delboy has lived with his brother in the past and has enjoyed going out on walks with both him and other centre dogs. He could potentially live with another dog but this would be decided upon a successful meeting at the centre. Delboy is a really sweet little guy who needs patient adopters who can give him all the love he needs, as we have seen what time and patience can do for Delboy as he is much more settled in his daily life.
