These two beautiful girls are 18 months old and looking for their forever home. Molly and Dolly were very scared when they first came into care and would hide away (even if it was dinner time!) However, with patience, time and trust, both these little darlings will now happily take treats from your hand and will allow the occasional head rub. Dolly is still very skittish at times and never fails to amaze me at how fast she can charge off to hide. She loves to destroy a toilet roll tube and knock over the stacking cups. Molly often will be found lounging in the huge pile of hay but can also be partial to the comfy hides too. Both Molly and Dolly love peaflakes and the rosewood fenugreek crunchies are a must have treat. Molly and Dolly are currently living indoors but have lived outside. It would be better for them if they could remain indoors whilst getting used to new surroundings and having time to continue to build on trust and socialising with people. The hutch needs to be a minimum of  153cm x 62cm, bigger is always better and a large run for grass time.

In terms of their living space, your guinea pig needs: 
ï‚· A secure space that is large enough for them to exercise and high enough to stand up fully on their
back legs.
ï‚· Indoor accommodation that is well-ventilated, dry and away from direct heat sources (such as
radiators or sunny windows) and draughts. Room temperatures of 17-20°C are ideal. Some areas of
centrally heated houses may get too hot, so be careful where you put their hutch.
ï‚· A large exercise area and secure shelter where they can rest, feel safe and protected from predators
and extremes of weather and temperature.
ï‚· Outdoor accommodation - if you are keeping your guinea pigs outside, their hutch should be sheltered
from direct sun and direct wind. In temperatures below 15°C, you should move them indoors. They will also need sufficient bedding throughout the whole enclosure to keep them warm.
